Hibs star nets date in court

HIBS defender Darren McCormack has been charged with drink-driving.

The 21-year-old was pulled over by police who allegedly saw him driving his girlfriend's Mini Cooper "erratically" near Easter Road in Edinburgh on 7 February.

The player was submitted to a blood test and was previously charged with having no licence or insurance after last month's incident.

A spokesman for Lothian and Borders Police said: "A 21-year-old man is subject to a report to the procurator fiscal in relation to an alleged incident of drink-driving.

"He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court later this month."
