Heritage bid to cut carbon

Historic Scotland has revealed its new Climate Change Action Plan which aims to tackle challenges presented by rising sea levels and increased storms.

The five-year plan will focus on reducing energy use in the agency’s buildings and improving the carbon efficiency of its operations

It also aims to improve energy efficiency in traditional buildings, mainly through a series of pilot schemes in a range of property types throughout Scotland.
