Help us film Scotland’s longest day

While editorial staff from The Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday and Edinburgh Evening News will be contributing to the project we are keen for our readers from all parts of the country to contribute in creating a snapshot of the nation.

Your video can be of anything from the pedestrian to the dramatic as long as it conveys an aspect of daily life in Scotland and is filmed on Friday from sunrise (4am) to sunset (10pm).

The person who submits the best clip, judged by our picture editors, will also be rewarded with a stay in the £2,500 a night Jura distillery lodge (terms and conditions) .

To take part simply email your clip, which should be no longer than 30 seconds, to [email protected] along with their name, address and contact number. The location of where the clip was filmed and time of day should also be included.
