Helicopter lands safely after emergency

A HELICOPTER landed safely at Aberdeen airport yesterday after a full emergency was declared following reports of mechanical problems.

The CHC helicopter, believed to have 14 people on board, was said to have reported gearbox temperature problems. Police, fire and ambulance crews were all called out, but the helicopter landed at about 2:30pm.
