Heather sets the standard at Portobello
BROADCASTER Heather Suttie was flying the flag for Portobello after it scooped a major accolade.
As revealed in yesterday’s Evening News, Keep Scotland Beautiful has awarded the town a Resort Seaside Award Flag, making its beach one of only 14 in the country with the accolade.
It was the first time Portobello has had any accreditation from the charity, with an increase in visitors now hoped to bring a tourism bonanza if the sun shines over the summer.
