Hearts stars help kick off breakfast club

Hearts duo Mark Ridgers and Denis Prychynenko have joined children at Canal View Primary to celebrate the launch of their breakfast club.

The club, a three-way partnership between the Big Hearts Community Trust, the city council and finance company AEGON, aims to ensure all primary and special school children in Edinburgh have a healthy start to their day.

Susan Wilcock, AEGON head of brand, said: “A nutritious start to the day is proven to improve attention and learning skills and we’re delighted to be in a position to provide that through the breakfast club.”
