Hearts star Craig Thomson arrested
The 20-year-old faces “historic” allegations that he tried to lure a 12-year-old girl into meeting up with him more than two years ago.
The girl, now aged 15, is believed to be from the Lothians.

Hide AdLothian and Borders Police have reported the Tynecastle defender to the Crown Office.
Last night a Lothian and Borders police spokeswoman said: “A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.”
Thomson, from Bonnyrigg, in Midlothian, recently returned to Scotland after a period on loan in Lithuania.
He had been playing for FBK Kaunas, another club controlled by Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov, and returned to Edinburgh after the Lithuanian A Lyga season ended.
However, although he is contracted to Hearts until 2013 he has not been training with the club since his return.
Thomson was not available for comment, and Hearts declined to discuss the allegations.
