Heartbroken girlfriend's tribute after man's body found

The girlfriend of an East Ayrshire man found dead has said she will 'love him forever'.

Keir White’s body was discovered in a field near Greenhill Terrace, Knockentiber, Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, on Monday.

The 24-year-old was last seen at around 6am on Friday. He was due to attend at his work with Allied Vehicles in Glasgow on Friday before heading to a work’s night out in the city.

But police were told he failed to show up, leading to an investigation into his wheraebouts being launched.

His girlfriend, Amy Collins, took to Twitter to pay tribute to Keir.

She wrote: “Rest in peace my handsome boy.

“Thank you for making the time I spent with you so special.

“You never know what’s hiding a big gorgeous smile.”

She added: “Be kind to your loved ones you never know when it’s the last time you’ll see them.

“I love you forever, my heart’s all yours.”

Friends of Keir have also launched a fundraising page in memory of him, with more than £3,000 raised for charity since Monday.
