Health staff go extra mile

A SURVEY of NHS staff across the Lothians has found the vast majority are "willing to go the extra mile" in their jobs.

The Scottish Government study revealed 88 per cent said they were happy to go above and beyond the call of duty, while more than two thirds said they gained a sense of achievement from their work.

The number of those who said they would recommend the organisation as a place to work rose to 55 per cent - an increase on last year.
