Head trauma link to crime

HEAD injuries in childhood can have a direct link to offending later in life, an academic will say in the Capital.

Professor Huw Williams will present data that shows how traumatic injury can increase risk of violent behaviour.

He will also describe how the justice system may evolve to manage such problems.

The talk takes place at Edinburgh University’s Lecture Theatre LT175 on South Bridge on February 13 from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
