He told lover he was terminally ill

SIMONE Banarjee, 41, an agency nurse, met Malcolm Webster in August 2004 in a corridor at the hospital in Oban, Argyll, where he was working as a theatre manager.

She said she became romantically involved with him in December 2005, after her previous relationship ended, and he moved into her 270,000, four-bedroom detached home in January 2006.

Ms Banarjee, who had no idea Webster was still married to Felicity Drumm, cared for him, sometimes carrying him to bed, when he told her he was terminally ill with leukaemia - another of his lies. Her world fell apart in January 2008 when she received an "Osman" letter from police, warning her that her life may be at risk.
