Have you got write stuff?

There is still time for writers in Midlothian and East Lothan to enter this year’s prestigious Writer of the Year competition, which is open to anyone over the age of 16.

If you enjoy writing prose or poetry and would like your work to be recognised then this is the ideal opportunity to get involved.

The “Writer of the Year” competition is run by Tyne and Esk Writers and the library services of Midlothian and East Lothian Councils. The overall winner will receive £100 and the Alison Kinnaird trophy.

Entry forms are available at local libraries or via the website www.tyne-esk-writers.com. The closing date for 
entries is August 17.
