Hall go for author talk

AUTHOR Elaine Di Rollo will introduce her novel Bleakly Hall at an event at Blackwell's Bookshop on South Bridge tomorrow.

The novel tells the story of Monty and Ada, old friends who both drove ambulances on the front line in Belgium during the First World War and who are brought together again at Bleakly Hall hydropathic hotel.

The event, which begins at 6.30pm, is free but ticketed. Tickets are available from the shop's front desk or by calling 0131-622 8222.
