Hairy biker loses beard

A BIKER has raised more than £700 for charity by shaving off his 20-year-old beard.

Animal-loving Harley Davidson enthusiast Russ Craig, who owns Dragon Heart Tattoo Studio in Portobello High Street, decided to part with his beloved facial hair and raised 726.46 for Dogs Trust West Calder.

He said: "My colleagues grew moustaches for 'Movember' but as I already had lots of facial hair I decided to do the opposite and shave all mine off for charity.

"My wife and I have rehomed two dogs from Dogs Trust West Calder and I really admire the work they do."
