Gutted gran puts up lost pendant reward

A GRANDMOTHER who lost a gold pendant she has worn every day for more than 30 years is offering a cash reward for its return.

Irene Heatherill, 73, noticed the fish pendant was missing from her belcher chain while in Hill Street in November.

She and husband Frederick, who live in Restalrig, had taken two buses that day. Despite retracing her steps and reporting the pendant missing to Lothian and Borders Police, there has been no sign of it.

Mrs Heatherill is offering a £100 reward for the return of the pendant, which Frederick bought her in America more than 30 years ago.

She said: “It’s a very distinctive fish pendant with red eyes. It is about two inches in length and the fish wiggles its tail.”
