Guns 'n' Roses guitarist Slash sets city date

ICONIC ex-Guns 'n' Roses star Slash is set to wow fans at a one-off HMV Picture House gig this July.

Tickets to see the electric guitarist – touted as being among the best in the world – are likely to be in high demand and go on sale tomorrow.

John Stout, manager of HMV Picture House said: "We're absolutely thrilled to have a rock 'n' roll legend like Slash playing at the venue and it should be a brilliant night."

The 44-year-old rocker's debut solo album, Slash, was released last month and he will take to the Picture House stage on Thursday, July 1.
