Gunmen shoot at bus in Karachi

GUNMEN shot at a bus and opened fire in several neighbourhoods of Pakistan's largest city yesterday, the latest incidents in a spate of violence that has killed at least 39 people in three days, officials said.

It was some of the worst strife so far this year in Karachi, a port city of 18 million. Police were still trying to determine motives for the latest killings.
