Guitar star to teach in city

IDLEWILD guitarist Rod Jones will swap touring for teaching when he takes up a new post of musician in residence in the Capital.

The rockstar was set to perform an exclusive acoustic set at Stevenson College's Music Box today to launch the South West Sounds project.

Jones will lead a series of weekly workshops in the south west Edinburgh area over the next two years for learners.
