Group to put on two shows

AN AMATEUR dramatics group that enjoyed a surge in membership in the last year is planning to produce two shows before next spring.

Following the success of last May's silver jubilee production of Calamity Jane, Dunbar Lyric Group will put on a small play in the autumn and a musical in spring. Membership more than doubled since their last production with many more young faces now active in the group.

They are now set to begin rehearsals for Woody Allen's show Play It Again Sam which they expect to be able to bring to the stage in September or October.
