Green primary wins gold

A PRIMARY school in West Lothian has been rewarded for its green efforts.

Polkemmet Primary School in Whitburn was presented with a gold award by the Green Tree Schools initiative in recognition of its outdoor work.

The scheme, launched by the Woodland Trust, offers schools the opportunity to bring green issues into the classroom.
