Green plans are Remade

A PROJECT that encourages people to reuse materials and equipment is preparing to draw up a three-year growth plan.

Remade in Edinburgh is an attempt to move away from the “culture of cheap disposable items” and instead encourage people to fix and modify items.

The project will be holding a public meeting on Saturday at 10.30am at Christ Church, Morningside, and will be inviting people to feed into its plans for computer, textiles and furniture repair courses.
