Green Fair set to return for second outing

THE city's second Green Fair takes place on Saturday at the Barclay Church Hall in Tollcross.

Organisers are hoping for a repeat of last year's success, which saw more than 600 people attend the event, bringing much-needed trade to local and fair trade businesses.

This year the fair has expanded with a greater range of stalls.

Green councillor Alison Johnstone said: "I am delighted that the Green Fair is returning having had such huge support from the public last year. I firmly believe that our economic future lies in promoting thriving small and local businesses so this kind of event is exactly the right kind for now and years to come."

The fair runs from 10:30am-3pm and admission is free.
