Gran’s name Rocks boat

The Scottish Seabird Centre’s £300,000 catamaran will be called Seafari Explorer, at Margaret Bisset’s suggestion.

The granny, from Pencaitland, came up with the name following a 
brainstorming session with her family.

Mrs Bissett said: “My family and I put some thought into quirky and creative names, but eventually we submitted a name we felt was to the point – it does what it says on the tin.”
