Grace hands new church

A NEW church is being established in Dunbar following interest from a parish.

Members of Musselburgh Baptist Church have committed to founding a church plant in the seaside town and held their first public meeting to progress the concept on Saturday.

To be called Grace Community Church, the project was first mooted in October 2008 and Andy Dalrymple has been named associate pastor and will spearhead its development.

A spokesman said: “We hope that in the days ahead others will join with us in sharing our gospel vision and in being ‘salt and light’ in our community.”
