Grab tickets for fireworks

Anyone wanting to get a ticket for the spectacular closing fireworks of the Edinburgh International Festival will have to move fast, despite it not happening until September.

The first round of ticket sales to the concert closes on Saturday.

The concert takes place on Sunday, September 4 at 9pm, and tickets for seats in the Ross Bandstand are already sold out, though tickets to Princes Street Gardens are still available.

For those who miss out on the first allocation there are two more opportunities to buy Princes Street Gardens tickets for the Virgin Money Fireworks Concert.

A second allocation will be released on July 18 and the final opportunity will be a limited number of tickets held until 10am on the day before the event, September 3.
