Government vow to young

YOUNG people who left school at Christmas have more routes into further learning, training or employment than ever, the Scottish Government claimed today.

It said its aim was to ensure every young person in Scotland was offered post-16 learning that was right for them.

The Government has made an extra 2 million available to fund 420 new places for school leavers to learn skills in engineering, warehousing/retail, IT and administration via the Pathways to Apprenticeship programme.
