The Scottish Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Home Show, will take over the SEC, Glasgow to welcome more than 200 exhibitors and outdoor experts across the four-day period.
This year there is an even bigger family camping area, more accessories and hundreds of models, layouts and specifications all in one place. It’s the perfect setting for everyone from avid outdoor fans to those who want to find out a bit more about holidaying at home.
With more people than ever before choosing holidaying at home over travelling abroad, the show is the ideal place for visitors to learn about the new adventures on offer on their doorstep, and further afield in Scotland and the UK.
Visitors to the show will be able to have first sightings of the brand new models for 2018 as well as a variety of holiday homes from luxury lodges to eco pods. With brands including Airstream, Swift, Elddis, Lunar, Bailey, Roller Team and Rapido there is guaranteed to be something to suit all needs and budgets.
Show sponsor BC Motorhomes have a wide selection of new and used motorhomes for sale which visitors can take a look in to find the perfect option for them.
Visitors will also be able to purchase accessories for their outdoor adventures at the Accessory Superstore. On show will be marine products including jet skis and dinghies.
Leading outdoor supplier Vango will be displaying their largest collection of family tents, awning and accessories in Scotland at the show so they will definitely be worth a visit. There will also be experts on hand to advise on the best options for you, offering you the space and comfort you desire at an affordable price.
Vango’s revolutionary AirBeam tents, which are transforming the way people camp, will be on display at the show. The inflatable beams rapidly fill, allowing you to pitch even a large family tent in a matter of minutes.
If that wasn’t enough, visitors will be able to wander through the Holiday Park Village where staff will be on hand to provide advice and offer suggestions to make sure their caravanning experience is the best it can be.
Exhibitor Verdant Leisure, a bespoke holiday park operator offering self-catering holidays and holiday home ownership across Scotland, Northumberland and Durham, will show how their holiday park locations not only provide opportunities to spend time together in some of the UK’s most picturesque spots, but give each family member the time and space to try out new activities or explore the area.
Back by popular demand is the Scottish Farmers’ & Craft Market that hosts over 25 artisan producers with more than 400 varieties of locally produced and award-winning speciality products. This is the perfect destination to pick up lots of foodie treats for your adventures.
You will be able to meet the makers and ask them about their produce, where they are based, how they source their ingredients, why their produce is unique, how it’s made and in most cases taste their products before you buy. You will also be able to find out where else you can find these traders so you can find and buy your favourite products again and again after the show.
The producers include Threepwood Fayre, Inverloch Cheese, Little Doone Foods, Cedar Cottage Foods, Sulwath Brewers, Senga’s Chilli Kitchen, Funky Fudge, Thorntonhall Farmhouse Ice Cream to name a few.
In addition, a number of clubs, associations and holiday parks will be there to help you pick out your next destination whilst free caravan towing or motorcaravan manoeuvring sessions are on offer from the Caravan & Motorhome Club. (Remember to bring your driving licence in order to participate.)
There will also be lots of fun entertainment to keep the kids amused including face painting, arts and crafts, guest appearance from superheroes and much more and with entry free for kids aged 16 and under it’s the perfect family day out.
