‘Glasgow Green’ flip flops on sale for Wembley tie

SCOTLAND meet England for the first time in 14 years tomorrow evening, and one company has come up with an unique way to let Scottish fans celebrate their roots - literally.

Car insurance firm Confused.com have created flip flops made from turf taken from Glasgow Green - so that Tartan Army fans can attend the match in London but stay on ‘home soil’.

The flip flops are available to order on the company’s Facebook page, and the firm have suggested that Scottish fans can ‘remain true to their roots’ by slipping into a pair of the grassy flip flops ahead of the big match.

No word on whether you’d need to water them and trim them to keep them looking good, however..
