Giuliani to address Scots business chiefs

FORMER New York mayor Rudy Giuliani is to visit Scotland later this year to address a major business gathering

Mr Giuliani, who is often credited with turning around the fortunes of the Big Apple during his term of office from 1994 to 2001, will speak at an event hosted by the Scottish Council for Development and Industry in Glasgow in November.

The lawyer and businessman will address some 850 delegates on the challenges of modern leadership.

While he was mayor, New York saw a significant drop in crime and improvements to quality of life – as well as the 9/11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre.
