Girl guides had a date to remember

EDINBURGH girl guides joined thousands of members from around the UK for a live video link-up and pledge recital to mark the final celebration of organisation's British centenary year.

At 20:10 on 20/10/2010 (8.10pm on 20 October), 2010 girl guides from the Capital turned out for the celebration at The Corn Exchange in Chesser and renewed their promise with counterparts throughout the UK.

They celebrated with music and 'mocktails'.
