Girl goes ice skating down Airdrie street and becomes internet star

A young woman from Aidrie has become an internet sensation after posting a video of herself ice skating on a frozen road.

Conditions outside Faith Davidson’s home were so frosty, she found that she could change her footwear and use her skates.

Her post has gone around the world after being shared thousands of times.

In her original post on Friday, she wrote: “Airdrie that ice I can put my skates on and play in the street”.
