Girl in court over death

A 19-YEAR-OLD girl has appeared in court charged with murder after a young mother was found dying in the street.

Emma Merrilees, from Edinburgh, appeared on petition at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday in connection with the death of mother-of-one Nattalie Muir, 21, in Whitburn, West Lothian, nine days ago.

George David Stewart, 39, of West Calder, and a 15-year-old boy - who cannot be named for legal reasons - have already appeared in court charged with murder. Merrilee made no plea or declaration during the private hearing and the case was continued.
