Girl, 9, seriously hurt by dog attack

A NINE-YEAR-OLD girl was seriously injured after being attacked by a dog outside a shop, police have said.

The girl was with her grandmother outside a Co-op store in Perth when she was mauled by the animal, believed to be a bull mastiff, on Sunday, 20 November. A Tayside Police spokeswoman said the incident was being investigated.
