Get a taste of the Continent

THOUSANDS of food fans are expected to flock to the Continental Market in the Capital this week.

Traders from around the globe have returned to the city for the six-day extravaganza, which is expected to attract more than 30,000 visitors.

The market on Castle Street got under way yesterday and is open daily, from 9am to 7pm, until Monday.

There are more than 25 stalls showcasing fresh continental foods, including Spanish tapas and chicken paella, and Italian vegetarian noodles and garlic mushrooms.

The market is being hosted by Essential Edinburgh.
