Get set for Olympics

THE Midlothian Olympics and Paralympics family fun day will take place in Bonnyrigg next month.

Zumba, archery and snowboarding will be among the activities on offer at King George V Park on June 12, between 11am and 4pm.

The event coincides with the end of National School Sport Week and provides a chance for visitors to try a range of sports and activities.

Councillor Peter Boyes, Midlothian Council's elected member for sport and leisure, said: "The Midlothian Olympics is a real family fun day."

The event will raise funds for Clic Sargent, which cares for children and young people with cancer.
