Get in tune with festival

Edinburgh is not the only place to go to for entertainment this weekend.

Newtongrange is offering its very own programme of events, featuring live bands and artists from the local area.

The first annual "Nitten on the Fringe" Music Festival will be held at the Dean Tavern, Main Street, this Saturday from midday onwards.

Manager of the Dean Tavern, Neil Patterson, said: "We are hoping it will become a popular family event."
