Get in step for festival

WALKERS are being encouraged to pull on their boots for the Midlothian Walking Festival 2010.

The third annual Midlothian Walking Festival is taking place from Friday, August 13 to Monday, August 16 with a series of free events across the county.

Councillor Wilma Chalmers, Midlothian Council Cabinet Member for Commercial Services, said: "The Midlothian Walking Festival has been very popular since its inception two years ago. Walkers will be treated to a unique experience as they are guided through Midlothian's picturesque rural towns and scenic outdoor landscapes."
