Get dirty at dance audition

AUDITIONS for a part in the stage production of Dirty Dancing will be held at Dancebase on May 5.

Hopefuls aiming for a place on the first national tour, which opens in Bristol on September 1, have just one chance to wow judges at the Grassmarket auditions.

Entrants should bring a CV and photo and females should wear heels and no loose clothing.

A statement from the Dirty Dancing producers said: "After five triumphant years in the West End, we are so pleased to be able to expand on the production's success.

"The production demands performers of huge talent and passion, and we are really looking forward to drawing on the incredible quality of artists across the UK to fill these much-loved roles and bring this story to life."
