Elected: Liberal Democrat (Alistair Carmichael)

SNP - 6,749 - 29 per cent

Lib Dems - 11,312 - 48.6 per cent

Labour - 2,664 - 11.4 per cent

Conservatives - 2,024 - 8.7 per cent

2015 RESULT

Elected: (Lib Dems)

Alistair Carmichael Lib Dems - 9,407 votes - 41 per cent

SNP - 8,590 votes - 38 per cent

Conservatives - 2,025 votes - 9 per cent

Labour - 1,624 votes - 7 per cent

Ukip - 1,082 votes - 5 per cent
