Labour - 16,084 - 31.9 per cent

Conservatives - 16,178 - 32.1 per cent

Elected: SNP (Angela Crawley)

SNP - 26,976 votes - 49 per cent

Labour - 16,876 votes - 31 per cent

Conservatives - 8,772 votes - 16 per cent

Ukip - 1,431 votes - 3 per cent

Lib Dems - 1,203 votes - 2 per cent
