Gatecrasher jailed for knife attack on two at party

A GATECRASHER scarred two friends after they refused him entry to a house party.

Alexander Moore came back with a Stanley knife and slashed the host and his friend on the face.

Moore, who suffers from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, had stopped taking his medication before the incident. He'd also drunk so much that he could barely recollect what he had done.

Moore, 18, of Livingston, earlier pleaded guilty on indictment to carrying out the attacks on July 31, 2010.

Jailing Moore for 16 months, Sheriff Douglas Kinloch told him: "It's a dreadful thing which you did. Two young men have been left scarred for life.

"There is a concern about knife crime and I must think about the victims of this crime."
