Garden centre to open doors

AN £8 million garden centre is set to open in West Lothian.

The 52,000 square foot Dobbies Garden World Livingston will open its doors to the public on Friday.

Pupils from Dechmont Infant School will cut the ribbon, with celebrity gardener Pete Jackson officially launching the new centre to the public.

A range of events and activities will take place over the weekend, including gardening demonstrations, face painting and a jazz Sunday lunch.
