Garden back in full bloom

A NURSING home garden has been transformed thanks to a Capital pensions firm.

Residents at Ferrylee Care Home in Leith now have a bright, recreational zone following two full days of work.

Volunteers planted flower beds, dug up shrubbery and varnished furniture at the council-run facility. A former resident of the home made a donation to help make the work possible.

Scottish Life provided the volunteers to "give something back to the community" and boost teamwork and confidence.
