Game on for silver surfers

HANDS-ON lessons in gaming and web surfing for pensioners are being launched next month.

Run by Third Age Computer Fun, the weekly sessions are designed to offer the city's elderly population not just courses in internet basics such as browsing and e-mail but equip them with the skills to play computer games.

From November 1, classes will be held on Wednesdays from 2-4pm at Starbucks on Princes Street and Tuesdays from 10.30am-12.30pm at Starbucks on Baker's Place.
