Gallery offers sweet treat

VISITORS to the Capital’s National Portrait Gallery will be tempted to back it to win a major art prize with free cake.

The recently refurbished Queen Street gallery is one of ten shortlisted for the £100,000 Art Fund Prize 2012 and will be holding a “Vote for Us” day tomorrow between 10am and 4pm.

Supporters will be served up free cake from the gallery’s cafe and entered into a draw to win an iPad 2.
