Gallery has a red letter day

PASSERS-BY were seeing red as the Royal Scottish Academy was lit up to mark National Heart Month.

Red light raising awareness of heart disease, Scotland's biggest killer, also illuminated The Balmoral Hotel and Camera Obscura. British Heart Foundation Scotland is encouraging people to support its National Wear Red Day on Friday, 26 February. Head of fundraising Barbara Osborne said: "We want to see as many buildings and as many people turning red as possible."
