Gala treatment for Chilean mine pair

TWO of the Chilean miners who survived being trapped underground for more than two months were due to visit the Durham Miners' Gala today.

Organisers were hoping either Carlos Barrios Contrera or Carlos Bugueno Alfara would speak at the event.
