Gaelic school up for boost

A GAELIC school set to take the place of the former Bonnington Primary School in Leith could benefit from a Scottish Government funding boost.

Scottish ministers have made £1 million available to councils across the country which provide Gaelic Medium Education (GME) for new and expanded schools.

The Gaelic Schools Capital Fund has supported projects in the Capital in the past.

The new primary is due to open in August.
