Funeral for pub landlord

THE funeral of pub landlord Steven Curran is to be held in Edinburgh on Tuesday.

The 47-year-old father of two, who ran the Dolphin Inn at Whitecraig in East Lothian, was found dead at the back of the pub on Thursday, October 21.

Lee McNamara, 23, from Musselburgh, has appeared in court charged with murdering Mr Curran and stealing a car.

He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.

In a funeral notice, Mr Curran was described as the "much-loved husband of Jill, proud and loving dad of Abbie, 13, and Lucy, 6, adoring son of Fred and the late Sheila and brother to Kathleen, Evelyn and Sheila".

Mr Curran's funeral will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium Main Chapel on Tuesday, November 9, at 11am.
