Funeral for crash driver

THE funeral of a driver who died after his car ploughed into a wall last week will be held in Edinburgh on Wednesday.

David Yorkston died after his Vauxhall crashed into the Salamander Court apartment block on Tuesday evening.

Despite the efforts of passers-by and paramedics the 38-year-old father-of-one was declared dead at the scene.

His funeral will be held at Mortonhall Crematorium on at 2pm. His parents Alan and Sheila have asked family and friends do not wear black ties.
